When it comes to road safety, everyone wants to be able to travel freely, without injury or death. Traveling might mean driving to work in an automobile, bicycling to school, or walking to the post office to collect mail. There are many factors that influence the safety of travel. There could be obstacles with infrastructure, flaws in vehicle design, and of course, human behaviors. What steps would you take to protect your loved one from harm on our streets? Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission is working on a Safe Streets for All Comprehensive Traffic Safety planning grant, and we want your opinions as we gather data to pinpoint our most hazardous areas in the Ozark Foothills 5-county region.
