The Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission is seeking a full-time (35 hours per week) disaster recovery coordinator. Duties will include providing technical expertise to cities, counties, and non-profit agencies regarding community planning, project development, and the compilation of state and federal funding proposals. The proposed salary range is $35,000 - $40,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full benefits will be provided.
Candidates should have the ability to travel regularly within a five-county service area and occasional overnight travel to state wide meetings and conferences. Graduation from an accredited college or university in the fields of public administration, business administration, planning, economics, or other closely related fields of study is preferred. An ideal candidate would possess experience in the preparation of written reports and professional communication with public officials.
