Separate sealed bids for the Industrial Park Water System Improvements will be received by the Owner at the Piedmont City Hall until Two o'clock (2:00) P.M., on Thursday, October 31, 2019 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of the replacement of approximately 6,205 feet of 10” water main along with all of the necessary appurtenances to make the system complete and useable.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Copies may be obtained at the office of the Engineer listed above, upon payment of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), which sum is non-refundable. Make checks payable to Taylor Engineering. Complete digital project bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) by going to Taylor Engineering’s website, www.taylorengineeringllc.com and clicking on “Current Bid Documents”.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the Piedmont City Hall, 115 West Green Street, Piedmont, MO 63957 at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids for a sound, documented reason.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon wage rates to be paid under the contract
